Cozy beds, too. They have puppies on site, for sale. Loved just sitting back and watching them. Park across the street for the kiddos to run around. Had breakfast ready for us in the a.m. in the breakfast nook. Very good breakfast. Left very satisfied. Will stay here again. Also have a gift shop on site with a lot of neat collectibles."

Over the last decade or so I have had nothing but positive experiences with this B&B. The reason I am familiar with places to stay in Valdez is because it is one of two closest supply areas for me during the summer season which I spend in the Wrangell Mountains. In case you doubt my creditability, at least as far as connections with this enterprise go, I know nothing about the owners other than to have met the old boy who owns the joint on a number of my visits."

Established originally as a fishing camp, Ketchikan Alaska bustles with activity. Commercial fishing enterprises, growing tourism and the Misty Fjords National Monument to the east make Ketchikan  a great place to visit.

Review - “The hotel shuttle is fabulous saving us $30. in cabfare each time. We used this property between trips to Glacier Bay and then for another three night stay using the shuttle from the ferry dock and airport at least six times. We even rode out to WalMart to buy another digital card. The standard rooms are not pretty (needs serious work) and the rollaway bed was miserable for my son. We later moved into a one bedroom kitchenette that was upgraded and very comfortable. My son decided to sleep on the couch and they happily supplied us with extra linens. The location was perfect for walking into town and along the waterfront. Laundry facilities, breakfast establishment onsite, grocery store nearby and the local bus stop made this place perfect considering the high hotel prices in Juneau.”

Review - "This hotel is a very economical option in Rochester and is connected to the Mayo clinic by the underground walkway which is very convenient if you are going there. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom which is a stckler for me. There is also a small, empty refrigerator in the room which was left open and left a slight smell in the room. An ironing board and iron is not available in the room and there is no option for movies. Of course no room service but lots of restaurants close by. There is an interesting notice left on the bathroom sink that asks the guest to use the supplied "rag" for removing make-up or cleaning up dirty things rather than using the good linens (which are OK but postage stamp size.) Would recommend with caveats."

Review - "I am a Choice, Hilton and Holiday Inn Gold Traveler and these are my lodging preferences. I was booked here (by a client) for a conference and thus had no choice. The conference room was large and very suitable. The hotel is old but the location is good. The rooms have been remodeled and the mattresses/bedspreads appear to be new. The shower is modern with a curved rod and updated shower head. They offer FREE breakfast (full) and 20% off on meals in the restaurant...which was fine. The TV was new and clear. I did not feel unsafe or worried during my stay as a single woman. They do not have a working key card entrance in the back door but this town is not too large, so it did not bother me....if it were the city then perhaps I would be concerned! I would not choose this location over the Holiday Inn Express (down the street) but it was comfortable, clean and quiet. The pool was clean and seemed to be a draw for families. I try to stay in the chains where I have attained status (for reward points) but this location was fine for those who are just looking for an overnight or two."

Review - "My husband & I chose the Hopeless Romantic B&B for its privacy, beautiful and luxurious furnishings and the service. The service was fantastic and our host made us immediately feel right at home. With a private entry and your own personal space it is the perfect place for a honeymoon. We found it much more appealing and far more charming and cozy than a hotel. My husband and I agreed that the best parts about the Hopeless Romantic B&B are the yummy breakfasts served by our host, the ultra soft and luxurious bed and the perfect shaped tub for two. We loved and completely enjoyed our stay and all that the Kelowna had to offer. It is a beautiful place to stay. You won't be disappointed."

Review - "This was the best place we stayed at on our or trip through Western Canada (and, on another note, the cheapest). The B&B is a 5 minute drive from the center of Kelowna, and is far away from the hordes of tourists. Andy and Louise are great hosts and have a beautiful, clean and extremely well maintained home which is right on the Okanagan Lake (i.e. their backyard is a private beach with a dock etc.). Aside from the beach access and beautiful lake view, the garden/backyard is peaceful, beautiful and very relaxing. Our room was also great – very spacious, with a large bathroom and sitting room with a TV attached. We paid only $115 CAD/night, but this was easily worth 3x that much. We will definitely return to this B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone who will be staying in Kelowna."

Review - "Bombay Peggy's has beautifully decorated rooms - each one different from the next. Antiques combine with modern amenities to create a comfortable atmosphere. The Attic is my favorite room, but they're all beautiful. Originally a gold-rush era "House of ill-repute" the hotel has been completely renovated and contains many unique antiques and relics of the Gold Rush. Whether you're stying in the hotel or not, I recommend visiting the pub. They offer nightly drink and food specials, and the staff is always friendly. Overall it's a place with a good feeling."
