Zipline adventures are a thrilling ride over the tree tops and through the Smokies. You’ve probably already seen photos or videos of others zipping by wire over a canopy of trees, but if you have never actually experienced a zipline ride, you should take the chance while staying in one of our Townsend Cabins here in the Great Smokies especially if you have young adults in your family.
There are a few locations in the region that offer zipline tours. You should inquire about their safety and how many lines they offer for their price of the tour. Some companies offer specials as well. One even has a zipline for ages 2 and up!
Whether this is one your bucket list or not, you’ll definitely enjoy the views, sights and awesome sounds that you’ll see and hear while on the tour. Some companies offer more than one activity along with the zipline tour, so you might be able to enjoy lots of the outdoors by horseback riding and ziplining, all on the same day. After an exciting day of ziplining fun, you can easily return to your close by Townsend Cabin for a nap.
Find out more about other outdoor trips and tours that are offered in the area.
